When I was in Saskatoon last, I had the opportunity to help stage the Wycliffe Penthouse for re-sale. I teamed with Art at Will and realtor Cindy Savino to rethink the space with some fresh art and accessories. We kept the owners original furniture and added a few pieces of art by Gail Prpick and Patrick Dowie and some fun accessories to spruce things up for re-sale. A little re-arragement, some creativity and a bit of art can go a long way!

I have always been inspired by the mod look of the British Flag. It reminds me of the swingin' 60's, Austin Powers and of course beautiful Great Britain. Lately this print is everywhere, and I couldn't be more happy about it. I put together a little inspiration board to show you all some of the possibilities of this fabulous print/ colour combination. Enjoy :)
On Tuesday, May 8th, I created my own inspiration board and blog post for DaDe ART & DESIGN LAB. Here it is! By the end of the week, I will have posted a couple other projects too. Stay posted! I think orange should be the official colour of happiness. There is something about it that never fails to make me smile. As Jonathan Adler would say, "Orange looks like you're living the California Dream". When Pantone released their colour of the year, Tangerine Dream, I was ecstatic. It was the perfect time for a burst of red-orange delight! I ordered myself a peach bellini and began to ponder the possibilities of this lovely new trend in design. 1. beacon by Bee Kingdom 2. 17-1463 TCX tangerine tango colour swatch by Pantone 3. Keep posted for more design projects!
